What does hosting your website mean?...

...When you visit someone's website you are actually visiting the hosting server where the website is stored.

To have this storage facility you simply rent the space needed for your site. It's almost like paying to have your ad shown in the local newspaper, except the market is much, much bigger on the internet.

If you don't have your own hosting arrangement, this can be set up through PD Designs.

I will do all of the messy bits for you for a yearly fee of £160.00 (no extra charges for updates).

Domain Registry

Registering your domain is a simple process and is needed to obtain/retain your www. name.

This is charged at £20.00 every 2 years.

Email Set Up

Emails can be set up for your website, so instead of having a yahoo or hotmail address, you can look more professional with an email using the domain of your website.

And don't worry, I will guide you through every step in setting this up.

How do you design my website?...

...Well, this can sometimes be the hardest part and the way I like to get things started is by designing 1 or 2 mock sites based on your criteria and some questions that I ask.

This way we have an idea to work with. The mock sites will be uploaded to a temporary site where you can see them. You then choose your favourite out of them; and then we tweak it so it's just right. You can't possibly say yes to a site and not see it first.

If we were to compare it to something like asking a car designer to draw you a car!...He would come back with drawing of a car. But would it be exactly what you wanted or pictured? Probably not, this is is down to personal preference and is hard to perfect.

However, by presenting you with clean and crisp designs meeting your bespoke requirements, makes that task a lot easier.

How Much?

"Well, as each site is different the prices can vary".....No!....No!....No!...I've heard this too many times!

I will give you a price based on what I believe is more than competitive.

My prices start from £250, for a basic brochure website which has all you need.
